I have taken two pictures here... I am wanting to repair both issues. One is obvious, the bushing... but how would I got about doing this at home? I have quite a few tools, and can fabricate pretty much anything I need.

The other picture I am not so sure about what I need to do, nor where the leak is. Any help is appreciated! Also excuse me if I don't use to proper terminology... I work on steam and gas turbines, so working on my truck is new except for the tools I use.

Thanks!

1. new shock

2. new rod seal & new boot on steering (you can slide the damaged rubber boot far enough to see the seeping seal)... you might be able to polish the rod if it's scratched or nicked before you re-assemble the unit...

I appreciate it. Now I must find out how to replace both of these myself. Anyone want to kindly lead me in the right direction?
