Can anyone explain why Rangers/B2's rear suspension that one shock is forward and one is rearward unlike the Explorer? Thanks

To prevent spring warp..........

to fit the gastanks and or a spare.

setup sucks and does nothing for axle wrap, actually would be more prone to make it worse. going over shitty sections of detroit roads always wags the tails of these ime as well.

i prefer them on the same side at max travel rate to the spring action if possible, and find it makes it much more stable over shitty terrain.
