When on the freeway going up an incline at about 60mph with it down shifted, the motor has a consistent surging (pulsing). The power is there but don't like that feeling. Anyone have a clue what's wrong?

That was a thought but it looked fairly new. I'm a second owner of a '93 but I will look at replacing it. I've used injection cleaner, new air filter, cleaned MAF and throttle body, and replaced plugs and wires. Every other condition the motor runs smooth. Thanks for your input.

mine (93 3.0) is doing the same, idle is fine but on hills i can feel a slight pulsation. going to do the fuel filter this week
