surgery today

Glad you're doing well. operations are easy because you're out cold, recovery sucks unless you're a lot better at sitting around than I am.

Oh come on, none us are gonna joke about your drippy doodle. Not one person on this forum, NOT ONE has not peed their pants in the last 6 months.

Glad you're back and all went well. You'll get through the recovery period just hang in there.
a drippy doodle isn't the only issue.
brief review of anatomy, the prostate is sort of the base plate for Mr Doodle.
now that the base is removed 'ol Mr Doodle is now just a Doodl :shok:

just a heads up to all you other fella's out there, any surgery down there results in the Egg Plant syndrome. same size, same color. feels just as heavy too.
had the same issue back in 2005 when a stent was inserted after my heart attack. (stents are inserted into the goin area)

once the Kegel exercises start working it'll improve the situation, how long depends on how effective the exercise is. no, wait, that's the pumps purpose.

fair warning to you guy's, get an annual PSA reading in your blood test. I went thru a 3 year lapse and things sort of got out of hand.
there are ultra sonic treatments now that reduce the after affects.

went back to the surgeon for a follow up today.
bad news, although the results are all good I'm limited to 10-15 pounds of lifting for the next month or so.
that will put a crimp in my plans,,,,maybe

screwdriver 1lb
typical wrench 1 lb
breaker bar maybe 4 pounds for the 1/2" the 3/4 bar will definitely be pushing the limit
hatchet for mayhem in the backyard 3 lbs
8 pound mini hammer OK
floor jack, oil rollers so it moves easier OK
1/2 impact driver 9 lbs
box of parts no-way
individual parts taken from box OK
Pizza not even close

I think I got this, albeit progress will be slow.

Pick up the pizza one slice at a time.

I thought this was the only reason people had kids, to pick up heavy objects and hand feed you pizza when your sick?

my kids being 39 & 36 wised up to my antics long ago.

Kids not taking care of you eh?

My kids are 39 and 41, I knew I was old when we went to a restaurant and they insisted on paying. I've grown to like it.

PJ... sorry I missed this. Glad to hear you're gonna heal... Hang in there man.
