Superlift steering repair

Probably because it's a 10 year old thread and the link to the picture is dead...

The link isn't dead, but Photobucket is charging members to host photos now. If you don't pay, the photo is blurred when shared.

This might work:

Never knew that, I haven't used photobucket in years. Seems like a wise business decision. Charge people money for a service everyone else offers for free. :icon_rofl:

After years I finally figured out the replacement for the drag link rod end on the super runner steering for the rbv. As of date of this posting most part stores can still get them in.

Tie Rod, 1961-66 Chevrolet/GMC 4WD, 1948-67 Ford Truck 2/4 WD Outer Tie Rod End; RH

Part Number: MOG-ES150R or
OER-ES150R

never seen this thread.

Since this was posted, I actually have repaired two of these Superrunner centerlinks as I described earlier by welding in a new TRE (though I don't remember if I used ones with M20 or M22 threads). Owning a welder makes this easy (probably not as feasible for those without though).

The taper for most TREs I believe is 1.5" per foot, so almost any mid-size or ½-ton TRE that fits in the tube should be usable.
