Take part A

and install into slot B

add a body lift to clear the firewall and get some clearance for the heater box

and some wiring

and what do you get ??


A kick ass Gen 1 Ranger .

I'm to the point that I can drive around now. While it runs very well, it's having some issues. At heavier throttle it seems to lose spark or fuel, basically craps out. I don't have a wide band O2 so I'm not totally sure what's going on. If I disconnect the MAF it doesn't do it but starts pinging , which is not good either. I've got a WDS hooked up and I was monitoring MAF and it's not pegging out but I'm not %100 sure why it's doing this. Not throwing any related DTC's.
Sometimes ( 50/50 ) if I throttle slowly, the engine really turns on, making about 4psi.
But I'll figure it out !!!

I have the Explorer seats and center console in, no carpet.

I'll get pics on Monday.

I didn't buy the kit from him, I bought a rolled Explorer Sport Trac that had the kit on it already.

Did you re-set sparkplug gap to .040?
Change fuel to 91 octaine?
