Personally, I wouldn't buy this... I wonder how much they're asking for this..?. Just get a real turbo instead... Will be less trouble installing and probably much more worth it...
From what I can understand it's a super charger combined with a turbo... You will still have to get the charger hooked to a belt somewhere on the engine, and yes it will use power to make it turn just like a supercharger does..
Maybe if somebody has the balls to try it it would be nice to see, but I really doubt that it's better an more efficient than a turbo.
From what I'm reading it would provide a constant boost at any rpm. In principle it sounds like a good idea. Adapting it, custom headers and whatever else needs to be done to make it work seems less practical. Currently both turbos and superchargers have their limitations. I'm not going to get one but seeing it work would be neat.
ok all I saw was the rod coming off to the trans in the video. As for the header I don't know you'd put it on because it bolts to the exhaust. if there is a place to put a header directly on it. I didn't see it.
