Anyone have these rims ?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-84-5765/

They're sickeningly cheap and exactly what I want. As far as I can tell they'd fit perfectly, but I'm not THAT knowledgeable with automotive information. So, would they fit good ? I currently am running the Alcoa FX4 rims. I lack the knowledge to know if it will work so here's my post! help me out please! I don't want to buy f*cked up rims and ruin my wonderful truck.

Have been running them for a few months now and have no complaints. They are sturdy. Nice powder coat finish. There is a blue and red pin stripe, but one soon gets used to it and it begins to compliment the rim and tire.

Awesome thanks. Will be ordering in the next week. Already got someone to buy my Alcoa.

Those seem to be pretty generic (sold under a number of different names such as Procomp, American Racing and others)

I have them on my BII. No real complaints. I think mine were sold under the Procomp name IIRC.

I have my winter tires mounted to pretty much the same rim.
They get the job done.
I actually like them more than the stock 5 spoke aluminum wheels.

i have the red and blue pinstripe on mine but it made the tires that came on them cheap so whatever man.

What was wrong with your Alcoa wheels? Aren't those pretty nice wheels? Forged Aluminum? I prefer forged aluminum to stamped steel wheels, they are much lighter and should be just as strong and most likely stronger than steel.

I didn't like the look of the Alcoa's. I was going to get outlaw II's, but I also didn't want to get them painted black. And I am not going to be doing anything serious as far as offroading or anything. It's more a daily driver. The weight might affect gas mileage a little but other than that I don't see any problems.

How about having your Alcoas powder coated black? That would look pretty sweet. I'm just throwing that out there as an option. If you truely don't like the design then you're best to get a different set of wheels. But they are some of the best wheels they have ever put on a Ranger from the factory, all the other wheels were either stamped steel or cast aluminum. Forged aluminum is generally considered the cat's meow of wheels.

Yes that is most of the problem, I really just don't like the design. They are extremely bland IMO, that's why I am selling them. I knew someone would love them so I didn't want to ruin them either cause I knew they weren't worth messing up. Plus they had a few minor scratches and wouldn't want to paint them unless I got a lot of work done to them. And how much would it have cost to paint them ? I paid 160$ for my new ones. Shipped and all. :shok:

:icon_confused:Alcoas for D-window steelies....

What is wrong with you? Me personally I am a fan of Alcoas, In fact I used to run them before my SAS.

With the money you should have gotten from what those wheels are worth, you could have done a lot better than any steelies, especially D-windows... Even the Soft8's are better looking.
But hey, it's your ride...

... Some people's kids...

1. I don't like the look of Alcoa's.
2. I don't need money.
3. I felt like being kind to a lucky individual so I went hella cheap. ( They were free so why not ? I make profit either way. )
4. I like D-Windows. These are my opinions and I am sticking with them.

EVEN IF I sold the Alcoa's for 500$, I would have STILL purchased D-Windows. I like the way they look. I understand why you/everyone likes Alcoa's, but they aren't for me. No need to call me an idiot subliminally cause of my choice of rims. I don't mind opinions, but I'd prefer it if you were not rude to me.
