Hey, I am running an 08 Ranger sport 4x4 with maxed tbars, expo leaves and 6400 shackles with factory 1.5 inch block. I am running 265/75/16s on factory ranger sport wheels.

I am planning a body lift and going 295/75/16 or a skinny 33, maybe a 33x11.5x15. Either way I am going to have to get new wheels, and I am wondering whats the most backspacing I can have?

I think stock is like 4.5" bs, and right now on full lock I rub the front swaybar.
Should I go to a 3.75 bs or would 4 be ok? Anybody run this set up? Would you guys recommend a 15' wheel over a 16"? I am probably doing steelies, no point in a nice wheel getting rock rash.

i have 285/75r16 on my truck with 4.25 BS

i have cranked torsion bars, shackles and swaped the block for 2.5"
the front is no issue, but the rear will rub a bit when fully flexed
with a body lift you shouldn't have any issues

i went with 16"s because 285's tend to be cheaper then 33x12.5

You don't rub on the swaybar? Im on the fence for doing a body lift, more cons than pros.

33x12.5R15 on a 15x10 wheel with 3.75" BS with 2007 Torsion keys cranked.

I trimmed the front bumper valance and had no issues.

I ran 285/75/16 with t bar crank. Spring over. 3in BL AND 3.75 bs + 1in spacers.

It could get into body under extreme flex but not often.

Anymore a 16" is easier to find than a good 15"

Summit has some cheap soft 8's and the like in a ton of backspacing options. Pro comp 152's are cheap also and should do what you want.
