sucking air

i have a 86 2.9 5 speed. its sucking air the intake whistles when i get on the gas. i also want to get a different exhaust and im thinking about a glass pack but i want to know what it will sound like. any help and ideas will be greatly appreciated

Check for a vacuum leak

are you running an aftermarket intake?

check youtube for exhaust sound clips.

i have the stock box. it sounds basicly like theres no filter but there is
