Hello all,

I am in the process of building a new ranger, and am looking at building my own lift brackets, but want to model them after the STX drop drop brackets for lift height. Does anyone have a pic or measurement of the difference between a stock 4x4 and STX axle pivot location? I have access to I think a rough country 4" lift, which moves the pivot placement about 3" from what I can tell, but just want to make sure the STX is only 2" more than stock.

Thanks for the help

well my google-fu was not good out the gate, but I think I found a post with dimensions

@Shran has been all over this subject...

The STX lift is actually only 1.5” however the drop brackets can be used for 1.5 to about 4” of lift depending on what springs you use. I compared the STX brackets to the 3.5” Duff lift brackets and they are very similar, the amount of drop that they provide is the same.
