anyones window knob pop off everytime you try and roll down your window. mine does and i can't seem to keep it on there. any ideas

but it won't turn then

I think it is even more annoying when the window is fully rolled down and the knob stops in a place that my knee hits it when I lean it over towards the door.

6'2" in a Reg Cab Ranger makes little room for the legs.

Sounds like you need a new crank handle, there pretty cheap at the parts store.

I had the same problem Jsp, easy fix tho. Just roll the window down, remove the crank handle and attach it in a different position.

Me too -- give it a 1/4 turn!

I did the red green windows thing for a while, except I used a drill.

Or you could be like Red Green

Red Gren's Power Windows

Oh, man. That is truely redneck tech there. I could not help myself from laughing on that. :icon_rofl:

Besides the redneck trick. I took the CB screw holder and screwed that in the back of the knob. I works, the knob still turns freely. And it never pops out again. And I have to roll the window down everyday too for ID check when going on to Tinker AFB. I also adjusted the leveler to stick straight up with the window in rolled up postion. Has saved my left knee. Don't know about the right since I'm always driving.
