stupid question

how do you remove the manufacturers text from your tires? i see some without it and some with it. do you paint black over the white text? pick it off with a screwdriver? punch it until it falls off?

You can use Dupont Tire Black, but most people just have a tire shop flip them over on the rims and put the all-black side out.

flip em. paint will crack and fall off, leaving u with white lettering parts

I put them on with white letter out on one side and black out on the other because I didn't know which way was better. Now, 1/2 the time at least, I'm doing it right. It's like my mullet--business on the passenger side, party on the drivers side. When I rotate the tire it's like a new thing.I do the mirrored shades when their on the passenger side and the yellow shooting glasses on the drivers.

i do not like it when trucks have the white letters in. i think they look better with the letters out, and if you keep ur tires clean, you should not have a problem with the white coming off (or at least i havent)
