I'll just fire away.

Does my 07 4x4 Ranger have have sway bars? If yes, front and rear? or just one or the other? and why can't I seem to see them on the back end myself?

I want to get more travel by disconnecting them if I can.

if you can't see them you probably don't have them. you might have them on the front but i'm not familiar with the new stuff. however if you do have them, it may be wise to leave them in place, the travel you may gain by disconnecting them is not going to be that much of an advantage, and if this is your daily driver, your on road performance may suffer as a result. again on this i am not sure, maybe someone else will chime in with their 0.02 cents worth and correct me if i'm wrong. it has been my experience that sway bars help with body roll, don't think i'd want to lose that advantage.

If you can't see one on the rear, it's probably not there. I would imagine one on the front though, but I haven't looked closely at the IFS on newer Rangers. Take a good look at the front end, it should be in the middle of that stuff, lol.

I'm not really sure just how much flex you can even get out of an IFS setup anyway, so it might not be worth it even.

My 06 has a front one, disconnecting the links adds travel, but reconnect it when going on the highway.

Yep, there's a front one under there for sure. It should be right against the frame in front of the A-arm crossmember, and attached at each side to the lower A-arms.

Removing it will make quite a difference, although with the total travel of the IFS about 6", you'll reach that pretty easily while offroad.

Well, I figured it out and I do have a front sway-bar.

Has anyone done a disco for these, I'm wondering about what other peeps have done for this??

I just removed mine entirely. I personally don't drive fast enough for it to make a difference on the road, but off road I gained a very slight amount of travel.

But as Junkie said, on 98+ 4x4s you reach the 6" limit quite easily.
