stupid europe

IDK - man, i've been in several BMW's with diesel power plants that you would sell your left nut to. They've got their shizzle down on those. Of course, they measure their mileage in litres/100 kilometers but even some of the best 5xx and 3xx series are getting better than 40 mpg. AND they ain't slow. I drove all over Germany in a 5 series wagon - autobahn, cities etc. and it always got over 40 MPG. And it would smoke almost everything on the autobahn - except for that Mustang GT that came flying past us at over 200 MPH.:icon_hornsup:

That mustang was also probably American owned too, therefore we do no pay the german gas prices and can open our ponies on the autobahn. Couple of guys have already tested their 03 cobras on the bahn....It was normal for me, when I had my 3.55 rear end in there to average about 130 mph on the autobahn...Fastest I had gotten it to was 175.

It must have been either a modified GT500 or a super heavily modified GT. Mustangs aerodynamics aren't that great. It takes a lot of power to hit 200 mph in one, I don't know the exact number but it's probably somewhere in the low 600 hp range.

Life is not fair unless....you have a '4 door not sold in the USA Ranger'!!!! lol
