The pressure was taken KOER. Watched them check it but didnt let me see it. Found both the sensor and the ECT looks fairly new but what kind of readings should I be getting from it tho. Its really rough running when first starting and gets better as it warms up some. Spray a shot of starter fluid into throttle body when trying to rev and studdering and it got it to rev right up.

I would rent a fuel pressure tester, just to eliminate that issue.


ECT sensor can be tested two ways, voltage meter or OHM meter.

The ECT sensor is a variable resistance device, when cold resistance is high:
60degF = 58k ohms, that's 58,000 ohms
70degF = 37k ohms

As it is warmed up by coolant the resistance drops
100degF = 16k ohms
190degF = 3k ohms, thermostat opens on enegine

The computer sends the ECT 5 volts then checks the return voltage.
Cold should read 3.5v
Warmed up .5-1.0v
 
Sounds like fuel pressure - you need to get a tester and verify that yourself before you throw money at the truck
