stumble

just got this truck and it didnt do it until this morning on my way to work its a 2003 ranger edge 4.0 5 speed and in 5th gear at about 90mph it starts to stumble and wont go any faster is this just the governor kicking in or is it something else i was thinking maybe sparkplugs or somethinglike that

try dropping down into 4th and see if does the same thing at the same speed. Better yet, don't drive it at those speeds, it's a truck.

i normally dont drive that fast but i was passing like 6 cars this morning comeing down a hill

are you being serious???? if so that is crazy my 97 didnt shut down until 105
