Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition.

Is that ^^^ true?

I pulled codes, both banks are running lean and I have the P0300 code as well as P0301. Misfire in cyl 1. Could the 300 codes be caused by the lean condition?

My truck had a cyl 1 misfire and it was caused because the rings slipped and allowed a little oil into the cylinder. The plugged got all gummed up. Check your plugs and see.
