On my 1998 2.5, It onlydoes this when it is cold out, like 32 Degrees. When I start my truck up, it revs up to warm up like they all do and after it runs about 20 seconds, it starts to stumble for like 15 seconds and then it runs fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Hmmm... I've had a fuel filter do the same thing to me b-4 on a F-150. Have you swapped it lately?

I'm assuming it isn't throwing any codes?

why would a fuel filter do that. Not enough fuel flow????

not really sure why, maybe there is some fuel on the rail for when it first starts, then it takes some time to pull fuel through the clogging filter and causes the lag in fuel delivery. I replaced the one on the F-150 when the truck stalled after a start-up... never had another incident with it after that.
