It has rained for about a week here in KC, and I went to an all day concert on saturday, where it continued to rain the whole day.
They had me park on the grass, and at the moment I didn't even think it may be hard to get out at the end of the day.
When I went to leave, I slid down a hill, avoided two trees, and tried in vain to get back out. I was actually pretty impressed with the truck's performance, since it was able to move about 100 feet before I kept sliding into the brushline, and gave up for the night, and had my mom pick me up. I know this looks like nothing to you hardcore off road guys, but it was at the bottom of a hill, and a chevy trailblazer, a 4x4 blazer, a lifted dodge ram 1500, and quite a few cars were stuck in the same place.
We came back the next day to make sure it was ok, and see if anything had hit it, and found this sight:
The cavalier was literally about a foot and a half away from me, but had thankfully not hit me.
It rained most of sunday as well, and I knew I couldn't get it out, especially with that cavalier so close to me, so I decided to wait until the car was gone (judging by the tire tracks and the spray of mud over the right taillight, it looked like something had already tried to pull it out, but couldn't).
Came back on monday, and it was gone.
The police towed it, so we went and picked it up from the impound lot, and I got a parking citation for parking on the grass :/
But its finally home, even if it is a little dirty, and nothing broke from the tow
Also, my truck made the 6 o'clock news
