It has rained for about a week here in KC, and I went to an all day concert on saturday, where it continued to rain the whole day.
They had me park on the grass, and at the moment I didn't even think it may be hard to get out at the end of the day.
When I went to leave, I slid down a hill, avoided two trees, and tried in vain to get back out. I was actually pretty impressed with the truck's performance, since it was able to move about 100 feet before I kept sliding into the brushline, and gave up for the night, and had my mom pick me up. I know this looks like nothing to you hardcore off road guys, but it was at the bottom of a hill, and a chevy trailblazer, a 4x4 blazer, a lifted dodge ram 1500, and quite a few cars were stuck in the same place.

We came back the next day to make sure it was ok, and see if anything had hit it, and found this sight:

The cavalier was literally about a foot and a half away from me, but had thankfully not hit me.
It rained most of sunday as well, and I knew I couldn't get it out, especially with that cavalier so close to me, so I decided to wait until the car was gone (judging by the tire tracks and the spray of mud over the right taillight, it looked like something had already tried to pull it out, but couldn't).
Came back on monday, and it was gone.
The police towed it, so we went and picked it up from the impound lot, and I got a parking citation for parking on the grass :/
But its finally home, even if it is a little dirty, and nothing broke from the tow

damn!!! i bet if u had some beter tires you would have been the 1st one out.:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl: :icon_thumby:

Yeah that would have been nothing for you if you had some MTs, you could have pulled the car out too.

Yea, some mud tires would have really come in handy lol

The truck was doing great when it had some tree roots to grab onto, but as soon as I got away from them, I just couldn't get any traction at all

Why didn't you use your 'Crane'...lol

Pushbar = Sexy. Do want one. Haha. Buy yup muds are awesome!

Unfortunately Crane is only my last name lol

Never really planned on getting the pushbar, but one day it came on craigslist for only $100, when they are over $500 new. I liked the look of it, so thought why not? :)

See if you hadnt "abandoned" your vehicle youd have been ok..........Sorry had to play on the news guys words....

Seriously, id make the concert people pay you for your ticket and impound fees, they made you park there, wasnt your fault.

I chose to park there, there isn't a dedicated parking lot for the place (at least not for 50,000 people), so a lot of people were selling parking spots at random places. Checked the tag they gave me when I parked, and I parked there "at my own risk", so I basically just have to suck it up and take it, and think before I park in the grass again

lol@ the BFG's comment. What you needed was some Boggers. It's hard to tame mud like that.

that same thing happened to me at a battle of the bands in Lounsberry, ny. if i had my ranger i woulda been fine but at the time i had my lincoln ls and that thing would get stuck on wet pavement..lol
