Stuck in 4th Gear

Exactly what the title says. My 88 Ford Ranger XLT ext cab truck is equipped with a 2.3 efi engine, 5spd mazda transmission and is 2wd. Can anybody tell me what is causing the transmission to hang in gear. It has done it before, and I managed to get out by rocking truck back in forth in yard and I replaced clutch and it was fine. However, it has been stuck in gear for over a month now and won't come out this time.

Im in Galax Va so please be reasonable on you price. If with-in 100 miles of me, and you price transmission reasonably (to my budget), then I will pay you fuel cost to deliver, or can try to get someone to take me to meet you. DO NOT offer me a transmission that you know nothing about and that you have NEVER used yourself. Tired of people selling me a trans saying they have never used but guy they got from said it was good, and when I get in truck, IT DOESN'T WORK. Not trying to be nasty, just tired of my time and money going down the drain.
