Strokin a Ranger

How much difference would it be to place a stroked 347 into a 2000 ranger? Can I use the all the hardware from a 2000 Explorer such as wireing harness,computer, and all other EFI related equipment,or do I need a stand alone system like the Holley Avenger EFI kit? I have to pass emitions here so it's got to be legal! Any help would be thankful!!!
