i thought i remember hearing someone saying that the 4L block is thin enough as is but if you were to bore the cylinders it makes it even thinner...i'm not sure who or where i heard that but i am also interested in hearing prices and availability of any kits or just knowing what you do.

In a word, NO.
Even if someone made such a thing by the time you were done it'd still be cheaper and easier to go with a 5.8.
And No, a 5.0 isn't the answer to "more torque" in a Ranger.
The problem with a 5.0 is that it has to rev like a 3,0 to make it's power.
Yeah, you'd also need a bigger trans, different T-case modified drivelines, but face it, if you need the "extra power" you need all that stuff anyway.
