Just got another b2 that only needs brakes, but there are two lug nuts that wont come off. Any suggestions on how to get them to come off? i tried using heat and really big breaker bar but its just not working. Please help.
thanks

wd40 and a BIGGER breaker bar? could always weld a bar to the lug nut if it is stripped beoyond using a wrench...

You'll want to use a penetrating lubricant, like PB Blaster, not WD-40. WD-40 is a water displacement oil, not a penetrating lube...

So, when you say stripped, do you mean you cannot get a socket to hold it's grip on the nut? Or do you mean the nut is so incredibly tight that you cannot turn it?

when all else fails ive had to drill out the stud....last option.

break the stub if u gotta. then take the drum off, take the diff cover off. take the 5/16 bolt loose out of the carrier, slide the pin out, push the axleshaft in, take the c clip off and pull the axle out! thats if its the rear! if its the front... take the hub off anf everything off to get the rotor off and then beat the stud out and put new one in!

???replacing a stud isnt that difficult in the rear. just hit that ****er with a hammer, pull the new one through the back, put the lug on and hit it with an impact wrench, itll bottom out after a second and shazaam!! ....if you dont have an impact wrench then i could see where the other route comes from
