Strange howling/hoking noise

My '97 has been making this strange honking or howling noise since i've bought it, a couple of months ago. It only happens when i'm traveling on the freeway doing around 100 kph and decelerating. If I get back on the throttle the noise stops almost immediately.

I notice other posters here mentioning to others to remove the air intake resonator as an inexpensive alternative to an aftermarket intake and that's when I noticed ..... my truck doesn't have one. I'm not sure if that's something specific to my year or what, but it looks very much like an unmolested, one-piece factory-style tube in there.

I know it's not my fan clutch making this noise.

Any input?

Nope. It's doing that too, but that's certainly a different sound and easily traced to the back of the truck. What i'm hearing is definitely up front.

possible wheel bearings in the front going bad. Check your pulleys as well.
