does anyone know what percent the sock tint is? and does anyone have a picture of front and passenger side windows matched to factory tint?

Bumping this because I need to know the same info.

most rangers dont come with stock tint just go and get some put on. i would suggest 20% since that is probably what you want and most people get.

My truck came with tint. Not sure what % it was though. The 20% I have now though is darker than the stock tint.

I was referring to the % of the tint on the privacy glass that rangers come with. I wanted to get the same tint on my front windows and a strip across my windshield.

the rangers have a stock solar tint on them it should say right on the window if they have it i know in ohio you can have 70% window tint and 50% if you dont have the solar tint.
hope this helps

The stock privacy glass is usually right around that 20% mark.

I got my fronts tinted to match the rear privacy glass just after I bought it and the guy didn't tell me the % but it's an exact match... any good tint shop should be able to match your truck without much problem.

Here's a pic of mine in the snow with a white background so the you can actually see the tint... most of the pics in sunlight the windows just look really dark like the second pic :)

imo most states its illegal to do any tint thats any kinda dark, so why waste money on some bs u can see right thru, go dark or go home. the ticket is the same price either way. i used to do tint for my dad's shop and it looked retarted to do legal tint, big waste of money. btw i drove this truck for 4 yrs with this tint and no pullovers or tickets

well in the area i am in in ohio Cleveland area the are cracking down on window tint. and i just stayed on the legal side keeps the glare down and when both windows are up it is noticeable
