Hey, the local wrecker has rims on sale for $8 a piece this week, So I was thinking about going to pick some up...
My question is what fits?
From my understanding, Jeep TJ/YJ/XJ wheels fit, right?
Does anyone know the backspacing or width of any stock jeep rims?
My stock ford ones are 4.25" bs I think??
Are explorer rims backspaced the same as Bronco II rims?

Thanks.

Older Ranger and Explorer rims will fit fine, the problems with the newer ones are the same as the Jeep rims, the center hole may or may not be big enough depending on the wheel to let your front hub fit through.

in which case you might have to do some "modification"
however thats only if the hole is too small. if it is too big your sol

Its not a matter of fitting fine, I have 10 stock bronco II rims (two trucks worth, +spares) I dont really need rims per say, I want a different fit...

At $8 a pop, I was hoping to be able to find something that has different backspacing...

As far as the hub hole goes, I would be checking them on a b2 or ranger in the wrecker to make sure they fit before I buy 'em.

For the older trucks that are nut-centric it doesn't matter, they have to have a little slop in them to go on over the lock out hub.

For the later trucks like yours that use the center hole to align the wheel then yes, it is a deal breaker.
