stock tire size

i have 15x7 ranger sport rims, i have the stock tire size 225/70R15
but i was planning to get me some tires a bit larger, so i want to install the 15" stock 4x4 tire size on my rims, they had told me they are 235/75, is this correct??
i like that size cuz is a bit wider and a bit taller, so it will give a better look to the truck i believe, i dont want somethnig to wide or to tall, maybe with this a gain a couple centimeters of clrearance

you can try 275 60 15
or 255 70 15

there are several different choices for a "stock" tire size.

235/75/15 was one.

you can try 275 60 15
or 255 70 15

a 275 60 is about the same height as a 225 70 (if not shorter)and there definitely wont be very many choices in a 255 70 if you can even find any. i would stick to a 235 75 it is a very popular size so availability will not be a problem

The difference between your 225/70r/15s and the 235/75/15s is gunna be so minimal you really won't even notice it, I'd go bigger like 31s

275's will be stock height at the measurements posted, but on factory wheels will be alot wider, and poss stick out a bit. (like a bubble)

are you serious? thats about 1 1/4''-1 3/4'' differenrence in height, hardly what i would call minimal. minimal difference in width i can understand but height, definitely not. i am assuming since your truck came with 225/70 15s it is 2wd and in that case a 31x1050x15 (about 256/75 15) will not fit but you might be able to stuff a 30x950x15 in there which works out in metric to about a 245/75 15
