Hey, I had a thought, if the FM145 tranny is 2" shorter than the FM146/m50d/a4dl, does that mean the rear drive shaft is 2" longer in such trucks?

Does anyone know the differences in lengths between various models of RBVs? Info on front driveshafts is nice too.
I was thinking getting a longer drive shaft from a JY is a better alternative than extending my own, as I cannot afford to have a shop do the work for me.

Lets say I wanted to go 6" of lift... how much additional length would the driveshaft require?

Suggestions?
Thanks.

Are we looking at a ranger, or a b2?

Yes, the FM145 rear shaft is longer, but for only 6 inches of lift, you shouldn't really need a longer shaft. A double cardan unit should handle that just fine.
