Hi guys, my Ranger is still running rough, and I'm at the end of my troubleshooting abilities! When accelerating I experience a "dead spot" in the throttle at times, and the engine has been lightly missing since I got it. It will lug pretty bad when pulling hills, and I have to floor it to get any acceleration, even in low gears. During running diagnostics I get 411 and 412 (can't control idle, high and low). After driving for 5 plus miles, I get 02 sensor codes on both sides, but never during engine running diag (they are brand new, and I have no exhaust leaks).
I'm getting 14mpg, and the previous motor got almost 20 mixed driving.
Things I have replaced after putting a 50k engine in it, while making up for 150k of neglect.
02 sensors
fuel filter
air filter
injectors
plugs, coil pack, wires
TPS (it was bad/coding like mad)
Compression is 155 in all 6 cylinders, as perfect as I've ever seen.
There are no vacuum leaks, I've replaced the plenum gaskets and the vacuum is 21lbs, and completely normal according to the Ranger Station tech library.
All replacement components were top of the line/oem.
Any fresh ideas would be awesome!
Thank you
Justin.
