i am sick of this electronic 4x4 on my 94 ranger v6 auto tranny how can i convert to a manuel shift 4x4 shifter for this truck????????????

You would need to get a manual shift BorgWarner 1354 transfercase and linkage.

i currently run 31" tires i have a 3"body lift can i run 33's

no fm ah i bought it like this any more wise advise jako

See these two threads from earlier this week:

http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93465

Basically get a transfer case & driveshaft from an older truck and buy manual locking hubs...

Or the "cost effective" method from earlier this week and last week:

http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93255

http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92934

Or a general discussion from last week:

These are just the recent ones I remember. Many others for sure...

You can buy the 'Shiftster' for about C$55.00. You remove the motor and bolt on the 'Shifster', ~15 minutes. You do have to go under the truck to engage and disengage though. I can personally attest to the quality [good] of the 'Shiftster' as I bought one. I added an indent at neutral for flat towing.
I also like the idea [free] , suggested by TwoTrackMind, of taking apart the shift motor and using the gear out of the motor, though I don't know how it would stay on. Maybe it doesn't need to.
If you search on this site there are lots of fixes that people have posted and how to diagnose the problem.
Good luck,

Richard

Right, you just keep it in your console or whatever until you need it. The teeth on the outside make for a nice grip!

thank you fellows
