Hey all, still kicking. I had to start dialysis this year, so I've not been around very much. I had a peritoneal port put in in Dec. and it didnt want to drain, so in Jan. , I had to have a central port put in and do some Hemo dialysis for about 4 weeks. During that time I had the Peritoneal port re-positioned and got it working, so now I do my dialysis at home, at night now. Im on the transplant list for kidney/pancreas, and as soon as I can quit chewing, I will be listed "active" again. I will be number 1 on the A+ list, so it should happen fairly quickly (have been on the list for 5 years now).

Anyways the wife said we needed a car (something more comfortable than my trucks, with better mpg). I asked her what she wanted. She said she wanted a new Challenger.
I found this one and bought it for her(me)....

Its a 14, SXT Plus. Other than the big motor, it has everything else. Track pack suspension, power everything, and even though it only has the 3.6, it hauls ass, plus we are getting 23-25mpg out of it. If you ever get the chance, drive a new Challenger, they rock. As fast as this one is, I really want to drive a Hellcat now. They have to be just insane. Anyways, enough bragging, you all have a great day, and thanks for looking....Mark.

Hey, Bro. Glad you are still around!!! I am thinking of you and your family and wishing you the best!!!!

No Hellcat or Scat Pack?

Good to hear you're still around. Careful with those fast cars though...lol...they can really shake you up.

Nice wheels...I would think a sorta sports car suspension would be kinda rough on the body...the suspension on my Ranger was hard enough on my old bones...haha...

Hang in there...let us know how the transplant goes too...

You will be a new man after the transplant. I knew a guy that had it done. He was a lifelong diabetic. Not anymore. Funny thing is he sticks to his old diet. The only thing he has to do now is take a anti rejection pill everyday. Good luck to you and Nice car!

I hope things keep working out for ya, good luck on kicking your habit.

Good deal on the Challenger, I would love to get a white 6spd R/T someday.

i am making my wife read this. i been trying to get one since they came out....she wants a 11-12 cherokee though. and i sure as hell wont buy a hemi that way.

i think stopping chewing would be easy to get on the list priority....

maybe take up something safer....like skydiving or hunting isis or something.

best to you:icon_thumby:

i think i like the stroker ranger better then that though....:icon_confused:

but i have always been f-ed up like that:D

Sorry about the dialysis & the waiting list...Hope it goes well.
Chewing is a hard habit to kick though, but driving the Challenger should replace the cravings-

Glad you're still around. Hope everything goes well and you get that transplant asap!

so...ya still kicking?

i showed this to bitch-zilla in hopes of finally getting one....

but...uhhhh.....ended up with eco boost edge. not even the big one...

:shok: that shit aint right....go from a dodge mini van....well chrysler t&c...but you know what i mean....to a ford thing. i was figuring at least a durango for the mommy wheels since shes been in a chrysler so long... go figure....

i am just pissy about that.

hope your doing ok. is the stroker ranger still running good?

Yeah, I just got it back on the road again. Needed a fuel pump. Then I added some new 36" IROCs on it to help save the BOGGERs. Its been parked for about a year, I forgot how much I love driving my little pickup. LOL
