hey all i was wondering if there are any tips on making the throttle not as stiff? i sprayed some wd40 into the TB side of the throttle cable... didnt seem to help much.

any other ideas on getting the pedal not to be as stiff?

I would remove the cable end from the TB(manually open throttle then slide the cable end out) and then manually pull the cable in and out to see if the cable side is where it is stiff, and then rotate the TB to see if that's where it is stiff.

If one of the wires in the cable has broken you may have to replace the cable.

it seems individually they are fine... but combine them and its just alittle much....

its weird... my focus from my rice burner days only had 1 spring on the throttle body... but the ranger has 2 on the throttle body and one on the cable...
