my 01 3.0 is being stubborn. few days ago the throttle starting sticking again and because it wasnt throwing any codes i assumed it was the IAC again. i checked the linkage and nothing was wrong.. so i replace the iac and everything went back to normal. 2 days later it started doing the same thing so i pulled over and disconnected the plug from the iac and now all is normal again... whats going on i thought by disconnecting the iac the engine would have died but i guess i was wrong... does anyone have insight? please lol im scratching my head because this makes no sense to me:icon_confused:

You don't say much about the problem.. What happens when the throttle "STICKS" what does it do? Does it run at this or that rpm? Does it idle poorly? Does it do it when cold or hot or both?

Sounds like the computer is trying to tell you something. Could it be NOT sticking? Could it be doing some sort of job the computer is telling it to do?
