2019 Ranger. I could not figure out why I could not clean my dash. Then I touched it. And it is sticky. I never had the truck detailed or put any sort of product on it. I googled this, and it seems to be thing among various manufacturers. Any one run across this, if yes, were you able to fix this. Tried soap and water. Sorry I do not have a more interesting problem.

I can't speak to newer trucks but you might try Clorox wipes. My old junk always has sticky steering wheels in the summer (even my '07 F250 is really bad...) and those seem to do a great job of cleaning the goo off. Windex and Simple Green are my other two favorites for stuff like that.
