After replacing my A4LD with a FM146, new clutch kit, etc., the clutch was VERY stiff and would not release. I did a lot of investigationa dn decided the master cyolinder and hydraulic line could be the culprits, so I replaced them. Still felt and did not work exactly as before.
Yesterday I pulled the trans and found the TB stuck on the outside shaft of the slave cylinder. I had to put the SC in a vice and use a hammer to drive it off. There is a small "tooth" of metal sticking out of the slave cylinder outer shaft housing which catches on the plastic of the TB and will not allow it to move. This only happens once the trans is installed and compresses the TB spring (which is why it was such a pain to get the trans in). I'm in a discussion with RockAuto/Beck Arnley right now about the problem.\
Anyone ever had an issue like this before??
