It started with it sticking @ 3000rpm once in a while after it was well warmed up I just had to slam the padal a couple times and it would come back to normal. I checked the cable and thottle body...everything seems to move freely with no binds. since I dont use it I disconnected the cruise control cable to see if that was the issue and its not. So now once in awhile it will stick @ 5000rpm and not come back down, I have to turn it off and physically push the throttle closed at the throttle body....would the TPS do this?

Just replaced it? Mine is sticking, but will even with the truck off.. don't really feel any major binding.. if anything seems the return spring is weak. Any thoughts on what I can lube the end of the cable with? WD, white lithium, graphite?

Yep I just replaced it and the sticking was gone :icon_thumby:
