i swaped a 90 cab onto a 85 ranger, everything is going ok, but i want to keep the 85 steering column. the problem is on the fire wall.the 85 has 3 bolts ,the 90 has 5 or 6.the holes don't line up. do i use the 90 steering column and splice wires, the ignition switch for the 90 is on the column. the 85 is in the cyclinder.or do i make a plate, bolts that to the hole in the 90 cab and drill holes for the 85 steering column?
