Steering wheel swap

I just need to know if its possible, i have a 1997 ranger that had the airbag go off and i need to replace the steering wheels(since i have one already) but its in a 97 f150 ik its a little larger than the rangers but can it be done? Im running on a tight budget to get this truck back on the road again. the radiator motor mounts fan and whatever else broke when it wrecked is already biting me in the a**. Thank you to anyone that can give some insight.

The splined shafts are different sizes and the taper depth is different i believe.
