Ok... I had a worn ball joint on my drag link that caused a lot of slop. I very carefully measured everything, and replaced the drag link. Got it all back together and everything tracks straight and seems to be the same on the measurements. However, my steering wheel is rotated about 10 degrees or so to the left (counterclockwise).

Went to just pull the wheel and move it a few splines over, but discovered it's not a splined wheel. Any suggestions as to the fix? Did I actually screw in the drag link too far on the passenger side tie rod or maybe not far enough? Any other suggestions?

You probably didn't get the new drag link exactly the same length as the old one.
You just need to adjust it a little is all (guessing it'll need to go a hair shorter if the wheel is off-center counterclockwise).

Yeah... I re-measured it and was short 6mm to the sleeve so I just backed the sleeve 3mm off on each side and that straightened it up nicely... Coincidently I set my timing that day to 6btdc without removing the vac adv and was wondering why it was gutless. That'll teach me to work on the truck at 5am. :icon_rofl:
