Steering wheel help PLEASE!

I have a 1993 Ranger and Im trying to put in a GT Grant steering wheel. I have the original steering wheel unbolted but I cant pull it off. is there any tricks or a certain way im suppose to do this? i dont have a steering wheel puller and my buddy took it off before without one, i just cant remember how he did it. Thanks.

Sometimes you get lucky and the come right off, sometimes not.... I think a puller is only $10 from autozone. Well worth the money!

That depends, do you have a sun roof or a sliding rear window?

no. solid rear window. I tried pulling and beating it with a rubber mallet but its not budging..

when you rent the wheel puller from autozone, after you turn it back in. you get your money back

P.S. its well worth doing it cause its a B**ch to get it off... lol, my buddy tried to do it without it. got it off but got hit right in the face. i laughed my ass off!!! lol =D
