well, as to avoid conflict as encountered prior, i attempted to find what im looking for in the tech library, i could not find exactly what i was looking for... so im asking you guys, hopefully youll be so gracious as to give me another chance. ok, i was talking to a friend about body lifts, and he said that if say i wanted to put a 2 inch body lift on my truck, i would have to do something to the steering column... im wondering if this is true... im assuming he meant lengthening it...

I believe there is a steering shaft extension available.

With 2" sometimes it's needed sometimes it's not. My 84 did not need anything.
