steering boxes

ok so i searched the piss out of this and was unable to find the info. Is there any steering gear boxes that bolt on from other vehicles, i.e, bronco 2, f-150. And if not what are the year rangers that my 91's steering box is in? 89- 97? i think 98 started the rack and pinion. not sure tho. Also is there maybe an upgrade gear box? like out of a chevy? something that is stronger. i already have my saginaw steering pump. Thanks

All steering boxes from 1983-1997 on rangers, and all other ford trucks up to the F450 superduty trucks are the same.

this is the important bit. that means a full-size, 1-ton pickup uses the same steering box as your truck....you couldnt possibly need an upgrade.
