theres a tool made for it. there are a/c lines that use the same style connectors.

edit: like this, any auto parts place should have it. the plastic ones are junk though.

X2 on the special tool. Most auto part stores carry the special tool in stock, I picked mine up for like $4.00. Give the connections a good spray with parts blaster if they've been connected for a long time. It seems like every time i want to pull one of those connections apart they're rusted toghether.

i bought the metal ones an i cant get gas line to pop apart? could it just be rusted inside an i need to use more elbow grease to get them off?

I'm not a fan of the plastic ones... they always seem to break on me. I would advise picking up the small metal set, which seem to work on almost every fuel line i've run into.

Here's the set I'm talking about:

I bought that same one, it was the most expensive on the rack. Didn't want to have to buy another. Worked good. Mine needed pulled apart pretty good, but make sure that the tool is completely expanding that spring before pulling too hard... Helps to see the fittings apart to know what your up against, I found a few online before I separated mine.
