its not a huge thing to bitch about but it seems like it takes a titch to long to start usally it should just be a crack then fire but i crank it over then stop and go again and it fires but it just takes a bit to long its worse when it warm:icon_confused: than when its cold im gonna gget the codes read tomarrow and see it it points in the right direction:annoyed:
 
I suggest an initial cheap diagnosis would be to clean the throttle body and idle control valve. If that does not work check your fuel pressure after the vehicle has been running with the engine off and see if there is any system bleed off. Your truck should fuel pressure in the lines for a while after the engine is shut off. If there is an imediate leak down your system is leaking down somewhere externally or internally such as an injector, pressure regulator, fuel pump. When your system bleeds down it may take several seconds for the system to pump back up to an acceptable operating pressure before the engine will fire up. One more thing to consider, if your injectors are not holding pressure after engine shut down that means that they are leaking excess fuel into your cylinders causing a light flooding condition which could contribute to a long cranktime after a recent vehicle operation.
 
The simple thing to do is to turn the key to the run position for 5 seconds to allow it to build up fuel pressure and then turn the key to start.. If this works you do have a leak down. Most likely the valve in the fuel pump is the source of the leak. If so there is no worry just continue to build up the pressure before starting.

It also might be a leaking fuel pressure regulator. I've seen them leak fuel into the vacuum line connected to it and allow it to go into your intake. An easy test depending on how accessable the regulator is, is to pull the vacuum line off with the engine running and see if it spits fuel out of it. If it does then the regulator needs to be replaced.
 
it was just a need of new plugs much better still burns rich my nose still burns but that could be the lack of cats i dk
 
fuel pressure regulator was bad and wasent holding pressure at idel or under load i pluged the return line off the regultor and the throttle responce is amazing tho my fuel pump dont like it it growls at me haha. amazing what some fuel presure will do. i think my truck likes running fat
