starting issues

heres my problem ... replaced starter , solenoid switch on fender wall replaced all grounds and battery truck still wont crank all i keep getting is the start click if i hold the key to start and pump clutch rapidly motor will drag slowly and eventually start ... what is going on

bad battery cables. thats all thats left

if it's a rebuilt starter don't be surprised if you have to replace it (maybe several times), they are notoriously crap. You can have it bench tested at the parts store.

sorry iwas in a hurry.

you can TEST the battery cables with a voltmeter. connect each lead of the voltmeter to each end of the cable you are testing and measure voltage while cranking

if more than 1volt the cable is defective. this checks voltage drop
