Starting issues ? Sounds weak ?

Ok this is about a Toyo Corolla that is my bosses car.. She said she thought her starter was going out but after work I went out to the car with her and it sounds like the battery is just weak to me. after a few weakend cranks the car starts up fine..

I told her I was pretty sure the battery was getting weak and if it were just the starter that you should still get strong cranking but it really sounds like the battery is weak.. Just want some more input.. I told her she might try hooking up jumpers to it and then try to start and if it cranks fine then most likely the battery is going.

You done good! If the jumpers make it better first thing to do is clean the battery cables and see if that does it.. I swap in a new battery every 3 years.. No mater what!
Keeps all battry problems away..
