Alright I got my Key Starting Issue fixed with a little creative wiring and got the Fuel Pump up and running. Now my Issue is which starter to use. The Motor is a mid 90's 5.0 HO from a Stang I think ...... But I am sure its a HO Motor. The Tranny is a mid to late 80's 5 Speed from a F150 (87ish I think). Here is the Problem ....... A Stang starter is hanging/rubbing the Flywheel (to be exact the Flat Washer Thingy behind the Bendix Gear is Rubbing) and I ended up burning it up cause it hung when I finally got the motor to Run'ish. So I got a Starter from and early 90's TownCar and the Bendix Gear is the wrong size and got chewed up. The Washer Thingy is Rubbing again and hanging on the Flywheel. A Starter from a 87 F150 had a deeper set Bendix Gear and Washer Thingy (which I think is needed being a Truck Tranny and Flywheel) but the Outer Dia. of the Starter Housing is about .05" Bigger than that of the Stang Starter. I think I need to take a Grinder and Slightly Enlarge the Hole.
Does all this make sense cause I am at the END OF MY ROPE.
Any Secret Knowledge would be Mucho Mucho Mucho Helpfull.
