Stalling While Driving/no start

I had this problen in a 94 4.0 - I also replaced the MAF and cleaned and checked everything - no difference. What was happening was that with the MAF plugged in it wouldn't start, with the MAF unplugged it would start but not rev. The reason that the fuel pump was the last thing to check was that it had just been replaced 2 weeks previous. I bought a tester and I had pressure but only 18 lbs. (the 4.0 wants 40). Put in a NAPA pump and right away got 40 lbs and no more problems. Don't know if you have this issue or not - you said you have fuel pressure but do you have the right amount ?
