Squeaky Sound Front End

I've got a 96 mazda b4000, 4wd, manual trans. Recently I've started to hear a constant squeal coming from the front end. I can't place my finger on the exact location of the sound, but originally I thought it to be coming from one of the wheels. Its hard to place the sound as it only really existent at ~25-30 mph and up. One thing I have noticed is that if i turn the steering wheel about 15 degrees or more to the left the sound goes away, that leads me to believe its something brushing against the wheel? I recently had a strange sound that occurred when braking, took it to one mechanic that replaced my rear drum brakes, took it to another (when the sound was still there after the first mechanic) that said one of the calipers in the front was loose and that that could be the cause of the sound and that there was no need to replace it. Could the brakes be making this sound? Its a constant sound though and if it was the brakes i would expect to smell them after a long drive, and i have never smelled any burning brakes. unfortunately im not too car savvy so I have no idea where to begin, but id like to try to figure it out instead of taking it to a mechanic and throwing away more money. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all.

I am not sure what year/s trucks have it but there is a ( BRAKE WEAR INDICATOR ) that is only suppose to do 1 thing and 1 thing only and that is to ( SQUEAK ) when you front brake pads are getting worn down to much so you know it's time to replace them.

I am sure others could elaborate a bit more, this COULD be the source of your squeak.

i was thinking of that, but i've taken it to two different mechanics in the past two weeks to look at the brakes, i would expect that one of them would have notified me of somthing as simple as worn pads. ill take the wheel off in the next couple days and check it out though just to make sure
